A little embroidered evening bag, just big enough for my phone and keys, which I made to match a particular dress. There are over 42,000 stitches
in the floral designs alone!
The central floral design fits my 4" hoop and the borders were stitched freehand from my machine's
built-in designs -
if you'd
like to make a similar purse the instructions and embroidery files can be downloaded here. Please note, the circle with the initial is left blank so you can customise it as you wish. |

A little embroidered purse I made as a birthday gift for an eight-year old girl.
The purse is made in three pieces - the back and front are the same and the flap is embroidered separately, then all three stitch together to make the bag. I then lined it with a pretty floral print fabric and added a shiny button and button loop as a fastening. You could also add a handle or shoulder strap. The embroidery files (minus the name) can be downloaded here.
